Let Your dreams Set Sail ♥♥♥

           Hi there, today I had real fun creating a Nautical themed card. This reminded me of the awesome moments me & my friends had in Goa this New Year. 

           I used an Iris Sg white card stock & painted using Memento Danube blue, I used different levels of dilution to create the sea & a background of clouds. Then I fussy cut the 3 waves, sail boat, birds & the sun (Oops, I don't have a die cutting machine). I colored them using Fabrica acrylic colors & assembled them onto my card. 

           Stamped the sentiment using ItsyBitsy alphabet stamp & the chevron and the lines using We R Memory keepers stamp set. Finally used my Uni-ball Creamy white pen to add some finishing touches.

           And that's it for today, gonna start for my hospital, byeeee. ♥♥

No-Line Coloring ♥♥

       I had absolutely no idea how this card was gonna come up when I started painting with Memento Danube blue for the sky. Then I added some ColorBox light green pigment ink at the bottom & let both encroach each other on its own!!

       Created some clouds with the blue ink again. Then went ahead and thought, "Let's paint a tree!!" & painted the tree trunk using Memento Potters clay.
       Used Memento Bamboo Leaves & ColorBox light green for the foliage of the tree. 

       I was left with a lonely tree on the card. To add some friendly grasses to give him company I put to use the tear drop shaped ink pad of Memento Bamboo Leaves. Holding it at an angle I just smooched the pad to the card stock to get those leaf blades.
       And I was so happy with that improvisation. ♥♥♥
       Finally added the sentiments & some leaves to complete the Happy Picture :) :)

Birthday Card ~ Enjoy Your Special Day ♥♥♥

       

          This is about the cards I designed for the Consultants working in my hospital!! In the midst of me working afternoon shift, watching an awesome Korean serial & reading Richard Dawkins's "The Greatest Show on Earth", I really didn't have much time to work on the cards. 

          So I kept it as simple as I could & did only a little bit of coloring & tons of stamping! 

          Initially I took 3 colored A4 sized card stock & cut them into 6 inch by 4 inch cards. Then I coloured them with Memento Tangelo, Lilac Posies & Bamboo Leaves to create a vignette effect. 

           Then I used stamps from Hot of the Press &  Bo Bunny stamp set to add the clock & sentiments.
  

          Once done with that, I trimmed them a bit & stuck them up on Iris Sg white 280 gsm card stock cut to (6.5 inch x 4.5 inch) using Red Tacky tape. 

          Then used stamps from Hot of the Press &  Bo Bunny stamp set to add some pictures & a Happy Birthday to the card!!

          Then I made some envelopes & stamped a "Happy Birthday" sentiment using a Bo Bunny stamp with matching Memento inks.

          And ta-da ~ I am finished with my cards & now sharing a few more photos I took!!!
